Colby Mitchell joined Doran Independent Insurance in 2026 and is excited to begin this next chapter in his career. In his role, he supports client relationships, assists with daily operations, and helps ensure that both colleagues and clients receive dependable, high-quality service. He is committed to clear communication, strong attention to detail, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Colby earned both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master of Business Administration, building a strong foundation in business operations, leadership, and strategic thinking. Prior to joining Doran Independent Insurance, he worked as an Account Manager for a staffing and consulting firm, where he managed client relationships, supported the full sales cycle, and helped oversee day-to-day operations. That experience strengthened his organizational skills, client-focused mindset, and dedication to delivering consistent results.

Originally from Gloucester, Massachusetts, he recently relocated to Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. He is proud of his background as a student-athlete, having played collegiate golf and served as team captain for three years. He also played club hockey and continues to value the teamwork, discipline, and leadership those experiences instilled in him. Outside of the office, he enjoys staying active by playing sports and spending time on the water.
